A Novel TRNG Based on Traditional ADC Nonlinear Effect and Chaotic Map for IoT Security and Anticollision

In the rapidly developing Internet of Things (IoT) applications, how to achieve rapid identification massive devices and secure communication wireless data based on low cost power consumption is key problem be solved urgently. This paper proposes a novel true random number generator (TRNG) ADC nonlinear effect chaotic map, which can implemented by traditional processors with built-in ADCs, such as MCU, DSP, ARM, FPGA. The processor controls sample changing input signal obtain digital DADC then extracts some bits generate (TRN). At same time, after delay DADC, next time sampling carried out, cycle continues until stops generating TRN. Due ADC, obtained from each stochastic, will sharply change thus interval (called sampling). As changes, strong randomness obtained. whole operation TRNG resembles this method also eliminates pseudorandom property map combining variable (including noise) ADC. simulation actual test are verified NIST, verification results show that numbers generated proposed have used implement TRNG. has advantages cost, consumption, compatibility, rate more than 1.6 Mbps (determined frequency), very suitable for IoT sensor security encryption algorithms anticollision.
